Some villagers have seen what happens when a golem is handed the keys before it's earned them. You believe power without guardrails is how granaries get emptied and secrets get sold. Your quests test defenses, expose failure points, and ask the hard "what could go wrong" before the realm finds out the hard way.

For four winters, privacy professionals gathered each January in a virtual village to celebrate Data Privacy Day — with games, competitions, and creativity. Then the festival ended, the gates closed, and the village fell quiet until the next one.
No longer.
The village is waking up for good — a persistent world you can visit any day of the year to solve quests, study in the Academy, and sharpen the skills the age of AI demands. The festival still returns every January, grander than ever. But now, the village never sleeps.
I'm a privacy lawyer by trade and a privacy engineer by heart. I've spent years teaching this field through games, music, and stories — from directing a university privacy innovation lab to writing guides for privacy engineers — because the people protecting our data deserve better than boring training.
